What AppScreens does well

AppScreens is one of the most complete screenshot editors around. It has 150+ template sets and 500+ editable layouts, real, clay, 3D and frameless device frames, panoramic backgrounds that run across a set, and 1,500+ Google Fonts. It covers the App Store and Google Play plus presets for the Microsoft Store, Chrome Web Store, Amazon Appstore and Huawei AppGallery.

  • Many stores and many languages. 80+ languages with AI translation, RTL support and per-locale overrides. Agent C is App Store only and doesn't localize yet.
  • Low yearly cost for heavy use. $99 a year covers 10 apps. If you redesign often across several apps, that's good value.
  • Agency work. Scale includes an extended licence for client projects.

Where Agent C is different

With AppScreens, you still decide the order, write or pick the captions and arrange each slide. Agent C does that part for you. Upload 6 to 10 raw screenshots, choose how the set opens (your screen in a hand, your app icon with feature tags, a lifestyle photo, or a plain phone), and Claude designs the whole set in about a second: one claim headline per slide written from your real screens, magnified close-ups of the UI that backs it up, designer layouts, 3D tilt, backdrops and colors pulled from your app.

  • No subscription needed. Designing and editing are free. A finished set is $9.99. If you update one app's screenshots a couple of times a year, that costs less than a yearly plan. Studio ($29.99/month or $199/year) unlocks every set and the full canvas editor.
  • Send to App Store Connect. Both tools upload to App Store Connect. Agent C puts the set into your draft version and never submits for review. How the upload works.
  • MCP today. AppScreens lists MCP as coming soon. Agent C's hosted MCP server already lets Claude Code, Cursor or Codex design the set and send it to App Store Connect. Compare MCP servers.

What is a good AppScreens alternative?

If you would rather not design each slide, Agent C has Claude design the whole App Store set from your screenshots and can upload it to App Store Connect, at $9.99 per finished set with no subscription. If you need many stores and languages, AppScreens itself is hard to beat; AppLaunchpad is another template editor with App Store and Google Play support.

Yes. AppScreens is an editor that generates store-ready screenshots from templates, with AI caption suggestions, AI translation and restyling on paid plans. Agent C is a generator in a different sense: it writes the headlines and lays out the whole set for you.

Does Agent C support Google Play like AppScreens?

No. Agent C is built for the App Store only. If you need Google Play, Microsoft Store or Amazon Appstore screenshots, AppScreens covers them.
