Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how The Agent C (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use theagentc.io and app.theagentc.io (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. For the rules governing use of the Service, see our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and display name, via Google Firebase Authentication (and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile info from Google).
• Customer Content — the App Store / Play Store links you paste and the public listing data behind them, screen captures you upload, brand details, generated concepts, and the marketing assets we produce for you.
• Billing information — your subscription, plan, and payment status. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us; we receive limited information such as the card brand, last four digits, and billing status.
• Usage & device data — log data, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and product analytics (including via Vercel Analytics) used to operate and improve the Service.
• Free-kit rate-limit data — for the no-login free kit we store a hashed value derived from your IP and any email you submit, solely to enforce daily limits. We do not build a marketing profile from it.

2. How we use information

• to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service and generate your marketing assets;
• to process subscriptions, payments, trials, and credits;
• to communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support;
• to enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and comply with law;
• with your consent, to send product updates (one-click unsubscribe on every marketing email).

3. AI processing of your content

To generate Output, we transmit relevant Customer Content (such as listing data, review text, and uploaded screen captures) to third-party AI/model providers, which may include OpenAI, xAI, Anthropic, and fal.ai/ByteDance. These providers process the content to return generated results and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices. We select providers that, to our knowledge, do not train their models on API content by default, but we do not control their practices.

4. Service providers we share with

We share information with vendors that help us run the Service, including:

• Google Firebase — authentication and file storage;
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
• AI/model providers — OpenAI, xAI, Anthropic, fal.ai/ByteDance and similar, for generation;
• Cloud hosting & analytics — Railway, Vercel, and Cloudflare.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your app’s listing, uploads, or generated creatives to market to your competitors. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We retain account and Customer Content for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required for legal, tax, or security purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport (HTTPS), managed authentication, and access controls — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email jacob@theagentc.io. We will respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. International users

We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service you consent to such transfer and processing.
